Canine Good Citizen Class

 

  • Certification program designed to test good canine etiquette at home and in public settings.

  • Class exercises help you pass the 10-part CGC test.

 

        6-week session $130 

 
 
​Canine Manners I 
 

  • ​Sit, Stay, Down, Come, leash work

  • House manners

  • Correcting problem behaviors

  • Getting dog's attention

  • Relationship building through games

  • Reading dog's body language

  • Firm and fair leadership

  • How to properly socialize 

 

      6-week session $130

Canine Manners II
 

  • Reinforce obedience work

  • Strengthen training skills

  • "Connected" leash walking

  • Relaxation/calming exercises

  • Review of AKC Canine Good Citizen test

  • Training in more challenging conditions

  • Correctly meeting people & people w dogs

  • Added topics and commands

 

      6-week session $130

Private Lessons
 

  • Session lasts about 1.5 hours

  • Custom training for owners preferring one-on-one lessons

  • Ideal for:

    • difficult problem behaviors: reactivity, fear issues, etc.

    • for dogs who don't do well in a class setting

    • for pups not fully vaccinated

    • assessment for specialized work and situations

 

       $75 per lesson base price

          (travel expenses vary)
